WORTHY IS THE LAMB

You called us out of darkness
Into Your marvelous light
You lead us beside the purest of waters
That flow from the river of life

You wipe away every tear
You cleanse away every stain
You break away every fetter
To free us from every chain

Worthy is the Lamb
Worthy is His name
He is worthy to receive all glory all praise
Worthy is the Lamb
Who before was slain
He is worthy to receive all glory all praise

You redeemed our souls
You redeemed our souls
You redeemed our souls

Thousands of thousands will kneel at the throne
From all people, all nations, all tribes and all tongues

WAITING FOR A MIRACLE

She wakes up, she breaks down
She holds her head inside her hands
And she won’t mind if you’d try
To give her hope to make her stand
Make her stand

Then one day you see her
Wearing a smile like cheap perfume
She acts like it’s all right
But you know she’s looking straight through you
Straight through you

She’s waiting for a miracle
She’s waiting for a miracle
Could it be you?
Could it be you?

She wakes up, she breaks down
She holds her head inside her hands
And she won’t mind if you’d try
To give her hope to make her stand
Make her stand

Lately reality is hitting her hard
Like a brick load dropped inside her heart
And you can only find the reasons why, oh why
Oh let love be the song she sings to
Love be the hope she clings to
Love be the way to her heart

Because love will always find
We’re singing love will always find
Because love will always find the open door
Love will always find the open
Love will always find the open door

GREAT SHEPHERD

Great Shepherd of the sheep tend my weary soul
Lead me by the still waters of Your grace
Great Shepherd of the sheep calling out my name
You rejoice over me in Your song
Sing, sing, sing for the Savior is at hand
Sing, sing, sing we will kneel at Christ’s command
Oh sing, sing, sing for the Hope of Israel
Oh sing, sing, sing here our peace has come to dwell
And in our midst a great Redeemer come to heal us in His love
So let us sing, let us sing, let us sing
Great God of peace the Overseer of my soul
As we walk upon these mountains, I’m restored
Great God of peace to hear Your voice I’m overwhelmed
Speaking life, speaking grace I am undone
I can hear the Savior calling from the heights upon the hills
My Beloved’s voice is calling
To draw me close and hold me still
I can see my name is graven, written deep upon His hands
My Beloved whispers quietly, “You were the purpose in My plan”
We will sing
We will sing
Let us sing
We will sing, we will sing

VESTIGE OF BEAUTY

I passed an old tree all alone on a hill
Where the grass was once green and the ground was once tilled
I saw the old ghost of a farmer once fed
By the sweat of his brow and the fruit of his land
Vestige of beauty, remnant of grace
Stood the dried up old tree and the life now encased
Rain stir the soul in this hardest of lands
Awaken the work of the farmer’s scarred hands
I passed an old church where the people once prayed
For the souls of the land and the fear of Your name
I saw the old ghost of a preacher once led
By a Shepherd whose love bore its scars on His hands
Vestige of beauty, remnant of grace
The souls who have turned all their glory to shame
Spirit bring fire that once burned our souls
Ignite all the passion grown jaded and cold
Emmanuel, You have carried our burdens and made them Your own
Emmanuel, You give beauty for ashes and joy as we mourn
Emmanuel, You have freed all the captives and called them by name
Emmanuel, You are calling Your children home
Vestige of beauty, remnant of grace
The bride who is hiding the shame on her face
But Jesus has washed all her stains in His tears
He crowns her with love and beckons her nearer
He crowns us with love and beckons us nearer
He crowns you with love and beckons you nearer
I passed the old cross standing broken and worn
With a voice crying out, calling His children home

CRUEL IS THE NIGHT

Dedicated to the child soldiers abducted by the LRA
www.invisiblechildren.com

Cruel is the night that comes crawling up on these
No lullabies hush these children as they sleep
Their muffled cries chill the hot, humid air
And hope soon dies to the silent, waking fear
Tiny hands pull the trigger shoot the gun
Once full of dreams, now this life is left unsung
Your poster child cries out mercy to the stars
But the rich among us covet, while the poor among us starve
And the poster sign goes marching on slowly down the street
Will you stand, will you fight, will you set our children free?
Someone said this is life before the end
So the wicked sing their song, while we righteous play along
Open wide the gates of freedom to the captives in our streets
Bring them hope, bring them joy
For their ashes bring their peace, bring their peace

EMMANUEL

The Shepherd that watches and tends to the sheep
The Savior that sings sweet melody
Prince of salvation, Author of life
The Hope of the nations, the fire by night
Emmanuel, Emmanuel
Emmanuel, Emmanuel
Kingdoms will fall, government cease
All our riches devoured, treasures released
The mountains return to the dust where they came
The sun smolders down to a flickering flame
Our peace will remain
Forever remain
Blessed Redeemer, wisdom of God
The Word of the Father spoken in One
Creator of Light, the Heir of all things
The hope that abides is Christ in me

GLORIOUS LIGHT

What have I before Your throne?
Empty hands, a heart of stone
I bear the mark condemned to die
Lost in the dark I need Your light
Called from death to light
Revealed out from the night
Glorious light, glorious light
I’m healed in Your grace and whole in Your sight
Oh glorious light, shine down on me
And let my eyes behold Your majesty
In Your glorious light
The wonder of this holy place
Commands my all, demands my praise
But Your eyes of fire have seen my shame
For the blood required I call upon the slain
My Righteousness, my Perfect Plea
Has cleansed my stain, has set me free
I am Yours and You are mine
And darkness could not ever hide
The love I see, the love I find
Here in wonder here in light
As glory streams around Your face
The angels sing amazing grace
No shadow of the darkest night
Here in wonder, here in light
Cause I am Yours, You are mine
And darkness could not ever hide
Oh ever hide

HYMN OF FAITH

Though no fruit be on the vine
Though no water in the well
And all the pleasant pastures mine
Turn to desert dry as nail
Though my dreams all slip away
Should my hope begin to fail
Still the Lord bless the day when I see His hand prevail
I will sing in the Lord
I will joy in the God of my salvation
For He is my strength, on Him I will wait
Lord bless the day
With the enemy at hand
In a strange and foreign land
And though the sun no longer shine
Troubled waters start to rise
Should all others fall away
Though my faith begin to fail
Still the Lord bless the day when I see His hand prevail

GOD OF THE BROKEN

Savior, God of the broken
You have seen my demise, in the light of Your eyes I am healed
In the hands of Jesus, I find strength in my pain
To partake of a life, to suffer and die
Here I abide
Jesus, Jesus You are more than enough for my soul
Jesus, Jesus all Your mercy is given in full
I am offering all, offering all
I am offering all that I am
Sufficient for today, my portion and strength
You have opened my eyes to the glory of life at Your side
Precious Jesus, You’re all my desire
Through all suffering and pain
For the joy of Your name I abide
Let all who wait on the Lord be lifted on high
They will mount up with wings
Meet the Lord in these skies
All who wait on the Lord shall run and not faint
Finding victory in life when the Lord is their strength
As we wait, we will wait
All you saints, sing in His strength

IT IS WELL
by Horatio G. Spafford

When peace, like a river, attendeth my way,
When sorrows like sea billows roll;
Whatever my lot, Thou has taught me to say,
It is well, it is well, with my soul.
It is well, with my soul,
It is well, it is well, with my soul.
My sin, oh, the bliss of this glorious thought!
My sin, not in part but the whole,
Is nailed to the cross, and I bear it no more,
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord oh my soul!
And Lord, haste the day when my faith shall be sight,
The clouds be rolled back as a scroll;
The trump shall resound, and the Lord shall descend,
Even so, it is well with my soul.

RUIN ME

Standing ashore with my heart in my hands
Safe enough to secure all my fears in the sand
When you call I’ll be hiding this sin that I bear
Wearing shame like a cloak dressing up in despair

Ruin me, take me far out of reach
Ruin me, become all that I need
Ruin me, let me live just to die
Ruin me, mark me up crucified
Let me die

Threadbare and spent I have nothing to give
In these ashes I’ll mourn if your face remains hid
And all these idols I’ve placed in my view
Leave me empty and bored, leave me hungry for you
I am hungry for you

Satisfied just to dwell at your altar oh God
Redefined by the measure I’ve found in your Son
How I long for your words to be all that I know
And if you’d hide your face from me where would I go
Tell me where would I go

Ruin me
Ruin me
Ruin me
Ruin me

BY FAITH

In the dark of the night lies a man wide awake
Overwhelmed by the life he’s about to partake in and
No eye has seen no mind comprehends
All he’s left with is tidings the angel has sent

And he knows there’s no way to go home
So he packs up his things to move on, he moves on

Forty years leave their mark on the heart of this man
When the word that he hears doesn’t fit in his plan
Could he walk in your power? Could he speak with your might?
When the land that you’ve promised is far out of sight

And he knows there’s no way to stay home
So he packs up his things to move on, he moves on

By faith they walk alone and forsake any life that they’ve known
They’ll embrace a heavenly home, anchored down in this hope
They walk alone, they walk alone

By the window she waits with her cord tight in hand
Her redemption kept safe by this small scarlet band
This harlot once held in the eyes of contempt
Is now captured in time for a life that was spent

By faith
By faith
They were martyred and scarred they were beaten and marred
By a world deemed unworthy to see their reward
As they look unto Christ He is worth more than life
He’s the author of their faith

TASTE THE WINE

Sometimes I can’t find a reason, a reason to go on
With all the vanities and treasons this world has sold me on

Find the wind so I can chase it and waste it once again
Drink the wine so I can taste it and face it’s loneliness

But in the midst of my despair Your love arrives with cross to bear
And reaching down to me You’ve pulled me into life abundantly

Live a dream called on by craving when hunger lingers on
Walk the path these dreams are paving when it’s death I tread upon

Exceedingly more than all I could ask or think
How great the life You’ve planned the thoughts you think
And the hope You bring to me

Oh my child let no one tell you this life is all there is
When life demands an explanation for the very breath it gives

PASSING BY

Everyday I pass him by
I see the pain in his eyes
And as he holds out a dirty hand
I drop my change what else can I do?

But in my heart I have a hope
And in his life he doesn’t know
The richness of Your love
And the peace that only comes from knowing You

He doesn’t know that lame men walk and blind men see
He doesn’t know the gift of life that would set him free
He doesn’t know the thoughts You think for him
So why do I pass him by?

All around I see there faces
Broken pieces in lost places
They’re reaching out to be found
But there feet are tied and they’re hands are bound

But in my heart I have a hope
And in his life he doesn’t know
The richness of Your love
And the peace that only comes from knowing You

He doesn’t know that lame men walk and blind men see
He doesn’t know the gift of life that would set him free
He doesn’t know the thoughts You think for him
So why do I pass

Give me the words that I may know the way to lead them to Your throne
Take my life and set it apart that I could share Your heart
That I could share Your heart

But in my heart I have a hope
And in their lives they just don’t know
The richness of Your love
And the peace that only comes from knowing You

PROVERBS 31

See her wake as the sun comes up
Sitting down with her coffee cup
‘cause she’s found all the strength she needs
in the sound of Your heart beat

And she’s precious in your sight
So beautiful in your eyes
And no jewels nor gold could compare to the worth of her soul

Penciled plans filling everyday willing hands that will find a way
To go on when she’s given all and
This home no it will not fall

And she’s built this home in love
Filled with wisdom from above

Strength and honor clothe her ways
Let her children rise and give her praise
The will give her praise

SING PRAISE

The early morning light plays softly on my eyes
And wakes me with the dawn
And my heart skips a beat to hear creation sing
Of all your hands have done

The sing praises to their Maker the brightest morning star
They sing praises to their Savior they praise all You are

I wrestle with my soul ‘cause I will not let You go
Until I hear Your voice
Your face is all I seek Your words bring life to me
So hear my heart rejoice as I sing

Hallelujah, hallelujah
Hallelu, hallelujah

The mountains all bow down the ocean’s roar resounds
To the Lord of everything
And every tongue and tribe won’t cease to glorify
The King above all kings

The early morning light plays softly on my eyes
and wakes me with the dawn

WHAT KIND OF LOVE IS THIS

What kind of love is this?
What kind of price was paid?
What kind of blood was shed and flowed for my sake?
What kind of love is this?

What kind of love is this?
Willingly crucified?
The beloved Son and perfect sacrifice
What kind of love is this?

What kind of love is this?
That would face the grave?
Taking on my sin to wash away my shame
What kind of love is this?

The kind of love that lets the unfaithful bride
Wear robes as white as snow

The kind of love that takes a wounded side
To show how far it would go
And as He cries out from that cross having counted all He lost
Found me worth the pain and worth the spikes
Worth the scorn in their hate-filled eyes
As He died there all alone
His love for me was shown

What kind of love is this?
That paid all I owed
Then returned again not leaving me alone
What kind of love is this?

CALMING VOICE

Five years old and so afraid
Because the nighttime shadows linger on the shade
The hallway light comes flooding in
And familiar arms come hold me once again
A calming voice to still the fears that run inside my mind
Reassuring words that rid all doubt and give me strength to try

Take one more step, take one more night
You can know I will be waiting here
To hold you close and dry your tears
Let go, see what tomorrow brings
Rest your head and close your eyes
And know your father’s by your side, I will be here
Take one more night

Childhood dreams from a little girl
Daddy someday I’ll be president and buy you the world
Your honest voice holds up the dreams that run inside my mind
Reassuring words to build my hope and give me strength to try
Take one more step, honey you could fly

You can know I will be waiting here
To hold you close and dry your tears
Let go, see what tomorrow brings
Give your best in all you try
And know your father’s by your side, I will be here

To watch you fly
I’ll watch you fly
Oh and you’re the reason why I’ve found the faith that lets me fly
You have been here to calm my fears
And you were here to dry my tears
Oh you were here to hold my hope
And you are here to let me know

Take one more step, take one more night
You can know I will be waiting here
To hold you close and dry your tears
Let go, see what tomorrow brings
Rest your head and close your eyes
And know your father’s by your side, I will be here
Take one more night

GOODNIGHT

Goodnight, rest your weary head
Goodnight, sleep in quiet rest
Goodnight, soon you’ll wake up in my arms
Goodnight, to the tear-stained face
Goodnight, to the heartfelt pain
As the memory subsides goodnight, goodnight, goodnight

Beloved, sleep in peace
Beloved, dream of me, dream of me as you sleep
Repeat verse and chorus

Goodnight, goodnight
